Edie & Asta Shipping & Returns

At Edie & Asta, we want your books and products to reach you quickly, safely, and affordably. To make this possible, we ship from Australia and also work with a network of local print partners around the world. These partners allow us to print and ship your books closer to where you live, which means:

  • faster delivery times, and

  • lower postage costs for you.

Depending on what you order, your purchase may arrive in more than one parcel and from different locations.

 

How We Ship

  • Books via our local partners: Many of our books are printed and shipped by local partners in your region. This helps keep shipping costs low and reduces delivery times. You’ll receive tracking details once your order is on its way.

  • Orders shipped directly by Edie & Asta (Australia): For certain products, special editions, or bundles, your order will be shipped directly from our studio in Australia via Australia Post or FedEx.

 

Instant Downloads

  • Digital products (such as guides, templates, or printables) are available for instant download.

  • After checkout, you’ll receive an email with a secure download link.

  • If you don’t see the email in your inbox within a few minutes, please check your spam or promotions folder.

  • Instant downloads are not shipped physically and do not incur any shipping charges.

 

Processing & Dispatch Times

  • Orders shipped by our local partners: Please allow 1-3 business days for production before dispatch. Delivery times vary by location and shipping option selected at checkout.

  • Orders shipped directly by Edie & Asta: We dispatch Monday to Friday from our studio in Australia, usually with a daily collection between 12–1pm AEST. Processing is typically 1-2 business days.

  • Express Shipping: Express shipping speeds up delivery time once dispatched, but does not shorten the 1–3 day processing window.


Shipping Times

We ship worldwide using our local partners, which may include Australia Post and FedEx.

  • Partner fulfilment helps reduce costs and delivery times.

  • Delivery usually takes 3–10 business days, depending on location.

  • Express Postage is available for $19.95. Please note Australia Post no longer guarantees next-day delivery.

Free Shipping: Free standard shipping applies to orders over $150 (after discounts). Free shipping cannot be applied on top of other shipping promotions.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

  • International orders may be subject to duties or taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.

  • If you refuse to pay these charges and your parcel is returned, we will refund the purchase price minus all shipping and return costs.

Tracking Orders

Most parcels include tracking and we will provide you with a unique code on dispatch, where possible. This will allow you to track your order using your local postal service (e.g. USPS for the USA).


Shipping Costs

  • Standard Shipping: All orders have a global, flat rate shipping fee of $9.95

  • Orders Over $150: All orders over $150 ship for free

  • Express Shipping: Express shipping is available for $19.95


Pre-Orders

If you purchase a pre-order item, your entire order will be shipped once the pre-order is ready. To receive other items sooner, please place two separate orders.


Unclaimed or Returned Parcels

  • Please monitor your tracking details to ensure your parcel is received.

  • If your parcel is returned to us as unclaimed, we will refund the order minus the shipping fee and any return postage charges.

  • If you received free shipping, a flat $15 AUD fee will be deducted from your refund.


Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. We are not responsible for parcels sent to incorrect or outdated addresses provided by the customer.


Currency

All prices are listed in AUD (Australian Dollars). You may view prices in other currencies on our website, but checkout will be processed in AUD.


Lost or Delayed Orders

Once shipped, delivery times are outside of our control. Postal delays, customs checks, or courier issues may affect your delivery. If your order seems delayed, please first contact your local carrier with the tracking number provided. You can also contact us at contact@edieandasta.com and we’ll do our best to help.
